A Greeting from the Consul-General, Philadelphia
Welcome to the official site of Consulate-General of the Principality of Granados.
It is my hope that this site will introduce you to my homeland, a place with a rich history and a vibrant future.
For many, Granados is largely known for its sun-drenched beaches, night-life, and fun-loving people. Situated on the Bay of Biscay (Mar Cantabrico), Granados is bathed in almost year-round sunshine, making it one of the world's great resort venues.
There is more to Granados than just fun and sun, however, and it is my hope that I and other officers of our Philadelphia consulate can introduce to the other, many wonders of the Principality.
Granados is a independent, democratic nation, yet steeped in the traditions of our constitutional monarchy. Historically, we share our allegiance to our constitutional Princes (Princesses), the monarchs of Spain and the United Kingdom. Yet, our vigourous democracy is beholden to none -- other than to 4,000 citizens of the Principality.
Please take some time to learn about my country by reviewing this site in detail.
We hope to see you soon in Granados, as visitor, a business associate, or even as a retiree.
Yours respectfully,
The Hon. L. Beebe II,
Consul-General
